Shipping policy

WHERE WE SHIP

The United States only, for now. We would rather do one country properly than
several badly.

HOW LONG IT TAKES

14 to 21 days from order to your door.

Nothing is chosen until you order and nothing is sitting in a warehouse. After you
order, we read what you wrote, choose the tea at the farm, have it sent to us in
Tokyo, pack it, and ship it. That is where most of the time goes. The rest is the
flight and US customs.

DUTIES AND TAXES

Included. We pay them before the parcel leaves Japan. Nothing is owed on arrival,
and customs will not hold your parcel waiting for payment.

CARRIER AND TRACKING

Japan Post EMS, with tracking from the moment it leaves us. You will get the
number by email when it ships.

WHAT WE CANNOT PROMISE

Customs can hold a parcel for inspection, and weather can ground a flight. Neither
is something we control. If your parcel is stuck, write to us — we can see the
same tracking you can, and we will chase it.

ADDRESSES

Please check your address before you order. We ship to the address you give us. If
a parcel comes back to Japan because the address was wrong, we will contact you and
resend it, but the second flight takes as long as the first.
